Curiosity, backed by sources.
OpenSTEM Replicate is an independent STEM research discovery and learning initiative. We make recent work approachable while preserving links to authoritative primary publications.
What we're building
Instead of mirroring thousands of PDFs or mass-producing empty research pages, we publish a focused monthly selection of source-backed STEM research. Readers can explore the publication, discuss the idea with peers and submit new work for consideration.
How we select the monthly 20
Our proposed editorial rubric considers relevance to STEM students, research significance, methodological interest, diversity across fields, accessible primary bibliographic evidence, and clarity of published claims. It is not a mathematically validated league table or a scientific quality score.
- Only verifiable original research, published papers, scholarly preprints, or clearly labeled research outputs.
- One entry can be selected for its educational value without being a globally dominant discovery.
- Editors read and verify original publication metadata and write a new, cautious summary.
- We never claim independent reproduction unless a tested, documented reproduction package exists.
- Author institutions and contact addresses appear only where backed by available public records.
- Submissions are reviewed manually, and inclusion is discretionary.
Corrections and editorial transparency
If you find an incorrect date, DOI, summary, author attribution or broken source link, email the evidence and requested correction. We can update entries and preserve a revision log in future versions.
